Chapter History
Maple Hill Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on May 22, 2011, by Candace Ogilvie Krugh. The meeting was held in the fellowship hall of Faith Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Marguerite “Rita” Poole Horton, Alabama State Regent, was the honored guest. The chapter was confirmed on June 27, 2011.

Since its inception, the chapter has consistently been ranked as a level one chapter in the NSDAR Chapter Achievement Award program. Achieving this ranking indicates a chapter’s commitment to achieving the goals of the National Society.
